Dr. Michael L. Green, Jr., a native of Indianapolis, IN, attended the Benjamin Banneker Honors College at Prairie View A & M University and went to medical school at the Indiana University School of Medicine.
Dr. Green’s passion for treating morbid obesity began during his five years of residency training at the University of Illinois, College of Medicine in Peoria. To further cultivate this passion, he went on to complete an Advanced Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgery Fellowship at Providence Hospital, affiliated with Howard University in Washington, D.C.
He is board certified and is affiliated with several professional organizations:

• Texas Association of Bariatric Surgeons
• International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity
• National Medical Association
• Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons
• He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons

Wendy Henry
Secretary
Wendy grew up in Fort Worth and is proud to be a native Texan. She has worked in the medical field since 2003, and in 2008 she joined the practice of Dr. Michael L. Green, Jr. and has been there ever since. She’s held a variety of roles in the practice including front office representative, referral coordinator and now acts as the practice manager. She realized early on she had a passion for helping individuals get their lives back through weight loss surgery, and loves being part of their journey. In her spare time, Wendy loves spending time with her family and her four pets, and loves to bake.
Kristin Kamprath, PA
Clinical Advisor & Educator
Kristin grew up in Colleyville, Texas and completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees at Texas A&M University and Texas Tech Health Sciences Center. She has worked with Dr. Green at Live by Losing for over 8 years as a physician assistant where she sees patients in the clinic and first assists him in the operating room.
She enjoys staying active in the medical community and serves as a member of the house of delegates for the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She also serves as a member of the integrated health membership committee for the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and as a member of the Texas Association for Bariatric Surgery. In addition to professional memberships, she serves as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor for the UNT PA program by serving as a preceptor for physician assistant students during their clinical training.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, playing tennis, baking, and playing Chinese Checkers with her Mimaw.

Alyssa Vircks

Alyssa fell in love with sales and marketing when she was only a teenager. Inspired and fascinated by global branding, large-scale events and pop culture, Alyssa graduated with a degree in Marketing Communications. Eager to live without regret and mild winters, she packed up her Honda Civic and relocated to the Lone Star State in 2012.
Within a few years’ time, Alyssa’s tenacity and grit, enabled her to support world-class events, with headliners such as ZZ Top, Foreigner and Mali Music.
As a Former Fat Kid (FFK), Alyssa is humbled to be part of the Green Legacy 4 Life Foundation. Dr. Green has changed Alyssa’s life immensely and looking forward to being “Legs to his Legacy,” to empower individuals to lose weight, gain a fresh start and maintain wellness for life. Let’s get it!

Robin Cornish, RN
Public Speaker & Obesity Advocate
Robin a native Chicagoan attended Occidental College in Los Angeles, CA earning her Bachelor’s of Art in Psychology. She later attended Brookhaven College in Farmers Branch, TX earning her Associate’s Degree in Nursing. Ever true to her motto ‘Live your purpose driven life,’ Robin left the nursing field and has been a flight attendant for a major airline for the past two years.
Robin has been a patient of Dr. Green for the past seven years. Her weight loss surgery has been the catalyst for her commitment to living a healthy lifestyle; based on mental well being, physical activity and healthy food choices.
Robin enjoys singing and songwriting in her spare time. Seeing the world brings her great joy. Most important she loves spending time with her family, especially the newest addition her granddaughter Quincy.
